           This is Tuesday 6-24-25, Managed to fix the headlight on the CSX7661! We fixed the Police Station. found a new camera  for another angle. Going to start looking for an HO Scale lighthouse. THE NEW F-350 CREWCABS WITH UTILITY CABS HAVE ARRIVED Above: They arrive at:  Bj's Gas &Go Truck Stop                   T hese two trucks will join the f-350 dully mechanics truck and the international tractor as part of Garrettville's maintenance department.                In other news: we have a new peice of rolling stock: a csx coil car. images soon. Also today is MOW Saturday. Another project we are working on is a vehicle roster and equipment roster, Hope to begin working one the Garret Mine bridge this week. Recently we purchased some roofing parts, such as air conditioners, fans, pipes, so  that's another project. Sometime this week we will do a Layout Update. well thats about it for now. 6-17-25 HISTORY for TODAY          Jeb's Canon: In the late: 1940s Jeb Garrett decided to cut through, David's Hill. David's hill is the precurser to Garrett Mountain. The hill all is the entrance to Garrett Mine. Well Jeb decided to cut a cannon through the hill instead of going over it to get to the Garrett Estate. Later in the 50s The Garrett Estate RR crossing was made. With the opening of This crossing the road through Jeb's cannon seemed obsoulete. However it turned out it made a nice path for traffic.

6-15-25 The Garrett Estate received the trees. below 6-15-25 Sunday School and service (FirstGrace Church) CSX SIDE DUMPS FOR GARRETT MINE TO HAUL DIRT FOR MINE .            No worksheet today (Sunday 6/15/64) Just informational. It is also MY )Dad)'s birthday. We will be getting small roofing parts to make our roof tops seem more realistic. This characters is based off Jason Dood (Our Son) He was Yard Master but now is Garrettville's Police Chief.)  New Yard Master: Charles (Dad)  Controls the flow of Garrett Yard.  Layout:       We've begun building the Garret Mine Bridge to the new section of the mine. Old  mine section is under revitalization. Bj's Gas and Go is going to begin to take shape. CSX 7661 will get a new coupler today. Garrett Mining will get a new office tonight.  Charles Anthony (owner of Anthony Salvage) will be replacing Conductor Charles, His daughter will be running the business. They will join the Snow Plow and the f-350 work truck. 

            Bj/s Gas and GO building arrives today. This will be a fueling and grocery and Cafe. Above left is the logo.           To the right is the new Conductor Charles Character Below is Police Chief Jason.          On the Laout  we started the re-design of Garrettville Cat. Begun the bridge extention for Garrett Mine.   6-7-25 Daily Post      Went to Walmart, thank you Tarriffs ( No Paint) . Anyways, today we are going to do some MOW! Bring Back MOW Saturday. Plus maybe a little Operations. I'm thinking Consist, an Outbound #34 Manifest?  Act of Operations: Coupling railroad cars together:  This is the act of connecting individual rail cars using couplers, which are specialized mechanisms at the ends of each car designed to link them together to form a train. Update: 6-6-25               Above is the future site of Bj's Gas &Go (Fuel, Cafe, Grocieres) We've ordered a new 3D building for the Cafe.          Above is the updated work on the Garrett Estate. And Garrett Crossing and road.  Garrett Yard work for 6-6-25     Sorry was in Hospital on the 5th but back home. Above is some Layout updates, and the Daily Worksheet. CSX 7661  will be in service for a broken coupler. No update on NS # 5301. It's been decided the Light House project is going to be delayed for now. That said, Garrett Mine and Mountain is being updated soon. Will have a family disscusion on where to go.      As posted in a previous post, we have two new characters coming. Good Morning this is the fourth day of June 2025.            Today the MOW train is departing with NS 3057 power, Our NS 5301 sd-40-2 is still at service , CSX 5943, NS (YD) 100, will be working the Yard. Then CSX5943 will be departing with the Outbound #34 Manifest to Manchester          Layout work: Going to work on the Bj's Gas &Go Site.  Charles: Blog Administrator. 

      Today we begin  construction on: Bj"s Gas and GO, rearrange the Garrett Estate, and have a busy Garrett Video Series 38 to complete. 

  Above" Daily Worksheet.          Today we checked all the CXRT Closed Hoppers, made some changes to Jake & Son's Refrigeration, Also some other moderate changes to the Layout. Completed Garrett Layout Video Series 37

 First things First ( I won't get a Birthday present cause I got it last Month!                   I want to thank my Son Jason for all his support with our layout. He is Autistic but tries really hard to and succeeds at being a Yard Master.                    I re-designed the track so he can learn more engineering coman control operations, it's a 4x6 oval.  My oldest son (Charles) has moved back in so we've changes the hobby room (formerly known as the living room,) Thank you Wife!!! for allowing this.      This month we are going to concentrate on painting and finishing up the hills and mountains.   HOLD UP!! HOLD UP! , I NEED MORE COFFEE, BE RIGHT BACK!  Whew almost lost it there! As I was saying we are going to work on claying and painting the hills and mountains.
