We've begun work on the Garrett Mine Overpass. (Shown Below) This bridge connects to Eagle's Cliff and is the entrance to Garrett Mine. To your left is where we have to conect the arch to Eagle's cCiff. We also have to make some saftey barriers for some of the bridge that comes off from the storage and manitenance area of the mine.

First images of Destiny's Peak and the new ramp to Garrett Mine This is Sunday July 20th 2025, No mail today. Bj has comleted the creation of Denstiny's Peak. The clay is on and awaits drying. Then paint and placement. The ramp/road to Garrett Mine is completed , now paint is needed.

Bj's Gas &Go Truck Stop (Cafe) We added two new ladies to the People of Garrettville: Hyacinth (Heidi) and Bille Jo (Bj) Today is Sunday July Thirteenth 2025. Not much today The Yard has given the crews a Sunday off. They've been working hard and deserve a Sunday off. Going to church being with family and a community cookout at First Grace Church.

Layout Updates: Hello, we did some painting on the land underneath the first bridge, also we painted parking spaces at Bj's Gas & Go Truck Stop. painted the road service for the bridge. We added a Tree and Light Post to Chief Jason's House.

Garrett Mine is coming along. We’ve worked out the open hoppers loading, there is a tower for the finely crowned granite chips, and the bigger boulders. We’ve also created a shipping area for the trucks.

Below is an image of the Truck and Railroad Cars loading area. Where the first NS open hopper next to the tower is, we will build a loading ramp. The tower is where the boulders are crused to granite chips for loading. Below is the upper level mine office. To the lright (your left) of the main office, is where the rock pile will be for the front loaders to load the trucks.

7-2-25 Layout Update: We have changes the track pattern one more time, with Jason's intrests in being an egineer, he wants to be able to drive the train in the complete c design. Hence the loop is no more.

Today is a slow day. Just some operational work for CSX 5943 AND NS 100 On the update side: We are working on a Semi Truck Roster, The light house has been ordered Snowhorse Designs. We are also reconfiguring the track to be a c shape circle, th is would intail joining the csx sub yard track to the garrett Yard trac k , with the loop still there. Or we might leave it with access from behind united plastics and just the loop. Jason likes to run the train in circles, so that is why we are working on a decision. Another project is Garrett Mountain/ Eagles Cliff. More on this latter. One last thing we lit up the church see below Well God bless from The Blog Master (Dad)
